Thank you for visiting my website! I am proud to share the release of my first album, “Broken Cowgirl”, comprised of original songs I wrote and recorded in Nashville, TN which earned Platinum recognition reaching #1 on Indie country music charts! My music style in the album is described as country crossover, “the old with the new and everything in between”!
SAG-AFTRA actor: Having started as a background actor (NCSI: Hawaii, Magnum P.I., Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and more), I have recently had the privilege of being a part of several upcoming productions that will entertain, educate and leave you wanting more! Look for; “Untamed Justice the Beginning”, “If this is Goodbye” and “Lolo Tours” (pilot).
Acting/Music Training: B.A. in Music at Western Michigan University (studied classical piano with Dr. Stephen Zegree), post baccalaureate in Music Education Certification with a focus in general music/choral at Oakland University (private vocal studies with John-Paul White), graduate studies at Oakland University in Special Education and a M.S. in Education.
Having taught as a K-12 music/special education teacher for many rewarding and successful years, I am now, “reaching for the stars” and continuing my passion for the arts and entertainment industry as I studied on-camera acting classes at Wayne Ward Actors Studio. Currently, I am continuing my professional development by participating in SAG-AFTRA workshops, local theater classes such as improvisation and screen-writing, and participating as a member of the Mae Z. Orvis Hawaii Opera Studio.
My Inspiration started early on as a thespian in high school, earning the lead role in the musical, “Grease” as “Sandy” and evolves from classical piano that I have studied since the age of 8 years old, as well as being a member of various choirs, personal experiences, relationships with others, and my former students!
Something Unique: I highly value communication, creativity, critical thinking and collaboration. I am told that I bring enthusiasm, positivity, high energy, & charisma to projects and performances! I once had a gig as a Jewel tribute artist and another gig as a Sheryl Crow tribute artist.
p.s. I love to eat my popcorn with chopsticks!
